The first friend I had in College...Had dinner at Hue, Greenbelt yesterday. Although I've met up with some of my college friends before,I was both pretty nervous and excited as I was about to see other college classmates again. It's been x years already and who knows what could've happened to them? Anyway, one of my friends(Anne's her name)has "partially" resigned from work and is leaving for the US. Despite being a highly paid (not exaggerating) account executive and having just been asked by her boss an offer she "almost" could not refuse (a car, condo, salary increase and some company stocks), Anne wanted to seek greener pastures and try her luck in the US. She's still in a win-win situation because her boss considered her resignation as a leave--just in case she gets back and changes her mind. Haha...if you were her in position, you'd definitely be caught in the middle (and be giving yourself a pat in the back for doing a great job!), right?
just before eating... cool ceiling lampsI arrived at around 7:30. Anne, Nini, Kit, Tin & Lambert were there and were checking out the menu. We had garlic chicken, pork & chicken skewers, beef curry, grilled squid, dumpling stickers and rice. Mai and boyfriend came in later. After some introductions and some chit chat, the group had finally decided to feast on our Vietnamese course. But prior to that, Tin was secretly letting us sign at the back the picture frame (with a photograph, of course)-- our farewell gift to Anong.

The rest of the evening was spent on more kwentos, a whole lot of picture-taking and some good-byes. I'm definitely gonna miss this girl. See you soon!!
